Pages

Today I thought I would give you a little bit of a tour of my blog…
____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Here at mynuttyperspective, I have four main pages: Home, About Me, Rad Photos, and Weekly Tunes. Each of them serve a different purpose and fall under a different category. Here’s a better description of what to expect when clicking on one…

Home -On the home page you can expect to find my blog posts. These are just some posts that I have written up and want to share with you. They range from a wide variety of topics and relate to my life in one way or another. I hope to share my experiences and give you a peek into my world on this page.

About Me -I can’t put my life story into every blog post, so that’s why I have created this page. I also created this page in hopes to give new followers a little bit of information about me and to make it accessible without having to go to my very first post. If you have any questions about my nutty self then this is the page to go to!

Rad Photos -Need a little bit of photography/adventure inspiration? I advise you to click on this tab. On this page you can find photos taken by yours truly. They display my point of view on the world and how I see things in my nutty head. Hopefully you can find some inspiration if you are creatively stuck and don’t know what to do next.

Weekly Tunes -This page is probably my favorite. I love music so much and love discussing it. On here I like to share one song a week; it’s usually a song that I’ve had on replay throughout that week and one that I want to share with you. Feel free to leave suggestions of songs that you think I will like. I’m always open to anything!

So there’s just a quick run down of this blog. I hope you find some of the information useful. If you haven’t browsed the rest of the pages, give it a go and let me know what you think!

Until next time…

Traveling

One of the most important things you should know about me is that I love to travel; I can’t stand being in one place for too long. Most people say that I use traveling as an excuse to escape my reality at home, and that I just try to run away from the real world. It honestly frustrates me when some people say that though. My love for exploring into the unknown has nothing to do with that. If a person were to truly know me then he or she would understand where the root of my passion comes from.

When the majority of people travel they do it for vacationing purposes. I guess you could say they are technically the ones trying to escape reality. The only purpose that the trip is serving is to get away from work and pamper themselves. I’m the opposite. Whenever I go abroad, I look forward to working and learning new things. For me, I find that by submersing myself into the local culture it will refresh and relax me. I enjoy listening to local people share their life with me. I see it as an opportunity to learn about a lifestyle that I wasn’t born into. It’s kind of like being able to live a different life without actually being born into it. You know what I mean?

I believe that when we are born and raised into a family, we get this pre-programmed outlook on life. We share basically the same opinions and point of views with our family because it’s all we’ve ever known. That’s why when I travel I like to get a peek at the world through other peoples lenses. It really helps to broaden my outlook on the world as a whole.

So to say that I travel only to escape reality, is false; it serves a greater purpose for me. We really do only get one shot at life, and that’s why I plan on enriching my mind with as much of the worlds cultures as possible. I want to live out as many lives and cultures as I can while only being one person. It’s all I want to do in life…

Until next time….

Discovery

One of the main components of an explorer is to discover. Whether it be a new place, person or even feeling, an explorer seeks the discovery of something new. I, being an aspiring explorer, can relate to this. We love to learn and share our findings with the world. Whenever I’m adventuring off to somewhere unfamiliar, I long to make a discovery along the way to help me learn. However, exploring isn’t they only way to discover.

James Allen, a British philosophical writer, once said, “Circumstance does not make the man; it reveals him to himself.” I’ve learned that a new circumstance in my life helps me to discover a new side to myself. It can help me learn new traits that remained undiscovered up until that point. I guess you could say it’s a way of how we all grow and evolve as people. We go through this process everyday as we go through the motions of life. Take these new discoveries and use them to your advantage. Learn from your findings and then share them with the world.
