What’s cookin’ good lookin’? My name’s Karaline (aka Peanut), and this is my blog. Now to make myself sound as interesting as possible…

Well hopefully you know my name by now, but if not my name is Karaline (aka Peanut). I am 16 years old and I live in Florida. My family is made up of me, my 13 year old (and quite loud) brother Jeffrey and my mom Amy. My dad died when I was 15 and I miss him dearly. His side of the family originates from the Czech Republic and my mom’s family has an English/Italian background.
Probably the most important thing for you to know about me is that I have a passion to travel. It’s a craving that I have that can only be cured with adventure, and it always comes back again when I’m at home for too long. Something about traveling into the unknown gives me a buzz. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Central America, the Caribbean, North America, and most recently Europe.

I also love photography. I have a unique outlook on life that most people don’t understand, so I use photography to express what I see. A picture can be worth a thousand words or a sentence; it all depends on how you read it. There are so many emotions and stories that can be told just with a click of a camera. I’m currently shooting with my iPhone 5 and Canon Rebel EOS T3I.
When I’m not working on my blog or taking pictures it’s probably because I’m at school. I’m currently working on my AA degree at a local state college. At the moment I’m not sure what I want to major in, and I’m not too worried about it just yet because I’m only in my second semester. All I hope to do in life is travel, take pictures and write. That’s why I started this blog, to share my experiences in life and my adventures from around the world while learning from others on here. Hope you enjoy it!
